Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY is hiring seasonal Barbacks to support our team. You’ll track and stock inventory, deliver beverages, and provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

This is a tipped position with hourly pay and opportunities for training and development. You’ll work with bartenders and servers to ensure rapid service and maintain bar cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to cooperate with others.
• Ability to read and interpret delivery forms and purchase orders.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory.
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar stock levels of beer, wine, liquor, mixers, garnishes, cups, napkins, and dry goods before, during, and after shifts.
• Continuously refill ice wells and maintain soft drink dispensers.
• Stock product in beverage storage; maintain inventory supply levels. Accurately record re-stock needs, product transfers, and equipment repairs and communicate these with management.
• Collect empty glasses, bottles, and plates from the bar area. Wipe and reset guest-facing areas, including bar and surrounding areas.
• Keep work area and equipment neat and clean; immediately attend to and safely clear any spills in any area of the room.
• Empty trash containers and transport to dumpsters when needed.
• Assist bartenders to maintain rapid service for servers and guests in all-inclusive club spaces.
• Follow all alcohol service guidelines, venue sanitation policies, and food safety protocols.

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Barbacks to join our team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. As a Barback, you will contribute to the team’s success by tracking and stocking inventory, delivering beverages, and providing excellent guest service and support to your team at all times. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$16.25 – $16.25 / hour

• Exposed to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment
