Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Bartenders to join the 1970 Club and Catering teams at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY. You will responsibly serve beverages, ensure guest satisfaction, and help maintain a fast-paced bar environment.

This tipped role offers weekly pay and a range of benefits. You will work evenings, weekends, and special events, with opportunities for training and development, plus employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet club visitors, explain all-inclusive packages, and fulfill special requests with high hospitality standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and clutter-free workspace and keep bar areas organized.
• Fulfill drink orders, collect payment and make correct change.
• Mix drinks following recipes and company standards.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, verify IDs, and adhere to policies.
• Complete sales and inventory reports accurately.
• Maintain bar stock by ordering liquors and supplies.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Bartenders to join our 1970 Club and Catering teams at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience.

Please note that this is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$10.70 - $10.70 / hour

What will you do?

• Greet club visitors, explain the scope of all-inclusive packages, and fulfill special requests with high hospitality standards
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and clutter-free workspace and keep all areas behind the bar organized throughout the shift
• Fulfill drink orders from guests and servers, collect payment, and make correct change
• Mix drinks following recipes and using company-standardized proportions
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, and adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Complete sales and inventory reports accurately
• Maintain bar stock by ordering liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 2 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Previous experience using a computerized point-of-sale system

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift stock to 50 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to moderate to high environmental noise levels during busy times
