Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Barback at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. You will track and stock inventory, deliver beverages, and provide guest service to support the team. This is an indirect tipped position; the listed hourly pay excludes tipped earnings.

Typical shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with weekly pay and opportunities for training and development. Benefits may include health/dental/vision options and 401(k) with match.

What will you do?

• Deliver beverages and other products throughout the facility.
• Stock product in beverage storage; maintain inventory supply levels.
• Report all needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Keep work area and equipment neat and clean.
• Empty trash containers and transport to dumpsters if needed.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to read and interpret delivery forms and purchase orders.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory.
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift, move or maneuver up to 165 pounds.
• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift.
• Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
• Exposed to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment.
