What You Will Do

• Assemble all types of electrical/mechanical assemblies and circuit boards in the construction of units/systems.
• Perform a variety of tasks in the movement, stocking and issuing of orders, parts and assemblies.
• Maintain records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform chemical handling and recycling functions.
• Work from electronic computer based procedures and/or oral instructions. Work is usually repetitive and is performed under general supervision.
• Perform other duties as may be required.
• This is a 1st Shift position, based on business needs. Must be willing and able to work 1st shift.
• May be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must successfully complete required new-hire qualification training. Training includes one week of circuit-board soldering, followed by one week of electronic unit assembly training. Training also includes classroom instruction in quality standards and workmanship. Each course includes written knowledge and hands-on skills assessments. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of both qualifications. Full attendance during the initial two-week training period is required.
• Basic computer proficiency is required. Employees must have the ability to use a computer, mouse, and keyboard; navigate electronic systems and menus; and access, read, and follow computer-based workmanship standards and electronic work instructions.
• Must be able to work 1st shift.

• Soldering experience preferred
• Must be open to work overtime and weekends as needed.
