Town Pump Company is seeking a Store Maintenance Member to join our team. This role involves customer service, mechanical operation, repairs to fuel pumps and equipment, and outdoor maintenance of the store property.

The position includes cleaning, landscaping, and safety-related tasks, with on-call availability to keep the store running and to support clerks and managers as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and interacting with the public.
• Willingness to perform a variety of maintenance tasks around the store.
• Comfort in handling basic repairs and equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist store cashiers when possible.
• Repair, grease, test, and maintain fuel pumps and related equipment.
• Perform building and lot upkeep including cleaning, painting, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Maintain safety manuals, inspections, and electrical schematics; replace lamps and ballasts as needed.
• Be prepared to come in as needed to keep the store running and serve customers.
• Assist clerks or managers as needed.

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Maintenance member to join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.

As a Store Maintenance Member, You Will

• be responsible for customer service, mechanical operation, repairs, housekeeping inside and outside the store, store security, and assisting store cashiers whenever possible.
• repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps, and associated equipment including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems. Practice safe procedures in repairs and tool handling while wearing protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
• clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, etc. and handle building and property upkeep to include landscaping and trash and snow removal. You are exposed to cold and other outdoor weather conditions.
• maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics, and maintain lights to included lamp and ballast replacement.
• commit to keep the store running and come in as needed, interact with the public providing exceptional customer service.
• assist clerks or managers as needed.
