Job summary

ProRecruiters in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Billing Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team.

This full-time position handles receiving, reviewing, and organizing work orders, generating invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate billing records. You will coordinate with Dispatch, Accounting, Sales, and plant staff to ensure accurate Chain of Custody and billing compliance, with a Monday–Friday schedule and $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Previous billing, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with invoices, reports, and customer accounts.
• Ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and organize work orders, manifests, and paperwork from assigned locations.
• Verify Chain of Custody documentation and resolve missing or incomplete paperwork.
• Process work orders, generate invoices, and maintain accurate billing records.
• Match invoices with supporting documentation and distribute according to customer billing requirements.
• Process customer payments and recurring or monthly billing as required.
• Complete required manifest reporting for applicable cities and municipalities.
• Scan, organize, and maintain electronic and physical billing records.
• Prepare billing and sales reports and reconcile totals for accuracy.
• Communicate with Dispatch, Accounting, Sales, and plant personnel regarding billing and assist with additional duties as needed.
