Job summary

Schnucks is hiring a checker for our store in the United States. You will provide friendly and courteous service, greet customers, and accurately scan purchases while handling multiple payment methods. Training will be provided at store level.

Compensation pay range is $15.10 - $16.50, with benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and teammate discounts.

• Collect correct amount due from customer.
• Use proper procedure of accepting cash, checks, debit cards, credit cards, EBT, WIC and other payment options.
• Complete register record accurately.
• Practice and maintain cash security.
• Bag customer orders.

TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Bending
• Stooping
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional Requirements

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred. Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred. Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
