Job summary

Crossroads Courier, Inc. in West Des Moines, IA is seeking independent contractor drivers who own and operate an 18ft box truck. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM, for four weeks with potential for future work.

You will perform scheduled auto parts deliveries and must pass background checks and maintain valid license and insurance. Weekly pay is provided; you will use a smartphone for necessary apps and may need to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver auto parts to customers as scheduled.

• Use pallet jack if required during deliveries.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies.

Job Description

THIS IS A 1099 POSITION REQUIRES THAT YOU OWN AND OPERATE YOUR OWN 18FT BOX TRUCK.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

• Monday - Friday 6AM-3PM
  
• This is a temporary position, lasting 4 weeks with potential for more work in the future
  
• Drivers will complete scheduled deliveries of auto parts such as:
  
• truck covers
  
• hoods
  
• wipers
  
• other automotive components
  
• Freight may require the use of a pallet jack, so prior pallet jack experience is preferred
