Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers to join our expanding team in Roanoke. The position offers competitive pay and full-time shifts. No prior security experience required for entry-level roles; training provided.

Salary is $18.11 per hour with Full-Time shifts: 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, and 10PM-6AM. Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
