Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer for the White Sands Missile Range, NM area. You will work on real-time EW systems, perform troubleshooting, integration, and spectrum management to support field operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel CONUS/OCONUS and a strong technical communication skill set are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of terrestrial EW and radar employment, capability, and limitations.
• Experience interpreting and/or developing technical drawings and work packages.
• Ability to use and interpret electronic test equipment.
• Experience with maintenance/repair and/or installation/integration of advanced technical equipment.
• Familiarity with RF equipment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Problem solving in a large real time complex EW system environment.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and develop complex system designs and architectures.
• Support field testing and training using DoW accredited EW Systems.
• Spectrum management in support of EW field operations.
• Analyze and develop Electronic Attack (EA) and Sensing (ES) techniques.
• Provide subject matter expertise in engineering tasks for installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of diverse equipment.
• Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, certification tasks.
• Review change proposals for equipment impacts.
• Provide technical data and evaluation for components installation, equipment maintenance, and systems.

Requirements

Personnel Clearance Level:

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Analysis, or related STEM discipline
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

• Review change proposals for equipment impacts
• Provide technical data and evaluation for components installation, equipment maintenance, and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually.
