Job summary

McLemore is seeking a General Cleaner (Operations) in Houston, TX for evening shifts. Pay rate is $11.50 per hour with Monday–Friday, 5:00 pm–9:30 pm and no weekend work. The role includes cleaning duties across surfaces, restrooms, and maintaining safety protocols onsite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness by emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning assigned surfaces.
• Lift and/or carry items over 30 lbs as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning products and tools.
• Ensure building safety by securing doors after hours and checking appliances to prevent hazards.
• Use cleaning solutions and chemicals correctly to remove stains and sanitize surfaces.
• Follow all proper PPE requirements and adhere to SDS guidelines when using cleaning solutions.
• Dust furniture and thoroughly clean surfaces.
• Clean and service restrooms using proper disinfectants and equipment.
• Arrive on time and complete all assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Report any needed equipment repairs to ensure proper maintenance.
• Cross-train and assist in other areas as assigned by the Supervisor.
