Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician Trainee to join our team. No experience is required, but candidates with basic construction skills and outdoor work experience are preferred.

The role pays $17+ per hour, with benefits and per diem for travel as needed. Join a team focused on hands-on testing of concrete, soils, rebar, mortar, and other materials at commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass physical and drug screening and maintain a good driving record.
• Willingness to travel for projects and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on construction materials such as concrete, soils, rebar, mortar and more.
• Document results and assist senior technicians on site.
• Use provided equipment and materials to support geotechnical analysis.

Remote project technicians are paid per diem on top of their hourly rate and are paid for their travel time to different jobs.

SCHEDULING NOTE:

This position will require NIGHT shift work as well as some WEEKEND work days. Your daily schedule can change from day to day and you must be able to accommodate a flexible working schedule and have reliable transportation to and from the branch office at all hours of the day if needed.
