Job summary

Raley's is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our front-end team in Phoenix. You will operate the register, process payments, and help customers with information and inquiries. You will also assist with stocking, cleaning, and maintaining store standards to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older, 21 years of age if serving alcohol.
• Ability to handle cash and make correct change.
• Comfort with standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and accurately process cash, credit/debit payments, and change.
• Assist customers with information and resolve complaints.
• Stock shelves, face products, clean and dust as needed.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the store.

Position Purpose:

Our Cashiers will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the front end of the store, including bagging groceries, collecting carts and cleaning, and will provide a memorable experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities:

A Cashier is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Cashier’s Responsibilities Include

• Operating a register and accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
• Assisting all customers by providing information and resolving any complaints
• Assisting with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning and dusting as needed
• Maintaining Safety and Sanitation standards throughout the store
• All other related duties as assigned
