Overview

Sigma Defense is seeking a C5ISR SATCOM Network SME with 10 - 18 years of hands-on experience with RF communications to join our team in Fayetteville, NC.

Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The anticipated award date is October - November 2025.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and expertise in Satellite Communications and Network Systems
• Define procedures or standards, determine effective ways to execute tasks, and recommend improvements
• Develop performance objectives and determine acceptable performance levels
• Understand relevant terms and knowledge to support effective decision-making and identify potential inconsistencies or flaws
• Provide technical support for RF communications and/or communications networks
• Use network analysis tools to optimize RF networks
• Perform RF path loss calculations, system predictions, and modeling
• Support Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems including Equipment Support, System Support, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, Training, and Programmatic Support
• Travel 25% - 75%

Qualifications

• 10 - 18 years of hands-on experience with RF communications and/or communications networks, including 3 of the following areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training
• Recognized expert with demonstrated industry and public service leadership in C5ISR systems
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Clearance

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
