Sigma Defense Systems LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on the development of RF technologies and MIL-SPEC prototype sustenance, with opportunities to interact with customers and fellow engineers.

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, have 1–2 years SDR experience, familiarity with GNURadio and Python, and be eligible for a TOP SECRET clearance (sponsorship available).

• Interact with customers and other engineers to develop designs for prototypes.
• Assist in developing modulation schemes based on customer input and test data.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience with software defined radios.
• Experience in programming SDRs using GNURadio and Python
• Intellectually agile and willing to learn new skills.
• Experience with SDRs, their programming and their use is a must.
• SDR experience can include hobbyist level SDRs to full high fidelity systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Personnel Clearance Level

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field of study

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive)

• Assist in the development of new RF technology/systems and provide existing product sustenance of MIL-SPEC compliant prototypes.
• Interact with customers and other engineers to develop designs for prototypes.
• Assist in developing modulation schemes based on customer input and test data.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually.
