Important: The successful applicant will be working in US Government classified environments and must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position requires a current US Government Secret Clearance and work that can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.

Location and Travel: Must reside within the continental United States and be able to travel outside the U.S. for 3 to 6 months.

Our Consulting Engineers are vital to the Customer Experience (CX) team, delivering Business Critical Services. They leverage Cisco Analytics and Knowledge, combined with technical expertise and consulting, to drive value, innovation, and adoption in our customers’ networks. They help reduce risk, foster innovation, and improve network performance, acting as trusted advisors and advocates for the customer’s technological advancement.

Your Impact

As a Security Consulting Engineer and Technical Leader, you will help transform network architectures, mentor team members, and develop innovative solutions. Your role involves day-to-day customer engagement and strategic leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Secret clearance
• 10+ years experience in Cisco networking, Cisco ISE, C2C, Zero Trust
• Basic knowledge of Enterprise Networks, Unified Communications, and Security technologies
• Cisco certifications such as CCIE or multiple CCNPs (Security)
• Ability to work remotely and travel up to 30%
• Availability to support European Time Zone hours and travel outside the U.S. for 3-6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco methodologies in customer infrastructure
• 10+ years working with the Department of Air Force IT or cyber solutions
• Leadership experience in resolving complex network issues
• Strong crisis management and communication skills
• Experience with Route/Switch, Data Center, Collaboration, SDWAN, DNAC, SDA
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
