Job summary

PsychPlus is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our inpatient psychiatry team in Texas. The role involves psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for inpatient behavioral health patients, with a 7 on /7 off schedule and full-time (W-2 or 1099).

Active Texas license and DEA registration are required, plus PMHNP or PA-C certification.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or inpatient medicine.
• Active Texas license and DEA registration.
• PMHNP or PA-C certification, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care for inpatient patients.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-Cs) to join our behavioral health team.

Responsibilities

• PMHNPs will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care for inpatient behavioral health patients.
• PA-Cs are welcome to apply for either the inpatient or outpatient role, depending on their experience and qualifications.

Compensation

• $130,000–$160,000 annually
• Compensation is based on experience.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or inpatient medicine
• Active Texas (TX) license and DEA registration
• PMHNP or PA-C certification, as applicable
