Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens and processes laboratory specimens
• Receives, sorts, and accessions specimens
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen handling
• Completes patient registration and laboratory order entry
• Prepares specimens for internal and reference laboratory testing
• Maintains specimen integrity and laboratory workflow
• Performs basic pre-analytic and post-analytic laboratory duties
