Job summary

IntelliShift Services is seeking a qualified 12 Volt Installation Technician to install automotive electronics such as telematics devices, dash cameras, and GPS systems in customer vehicles at their sites. The role emphasizes quality installations and seamless operation within vehicle environments.

The position requires 2+ years of experience, knowledge of 12V systems, and DMM proficiency, with travel to client locations. A $500 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly rate are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational education in automotive technology or electronics is highly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive electronics installation or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive 12V systems, wiring diagrams, and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with telematics devices, dash cameras, GPS systems, and related automotive electronics.
• Able to utilize a DMM effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; travel to various customer locations is required.
• Personal work vehicle required to get to appointments.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel, and work evenings/weekends as required. Standard work week is Tuesday through Saturday.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

• Experience with remote vehicle diagnostics and telematics systems.
