Job description

Responsible for operating packing equipment in a safe, competent, and efficient manner. Inspect, label, and package products into the designated carton in preparation for shipment. Support the production line by bringing raw materials to the production floor, maintaining good housekeeping, and relieving team members during scheduled breaks.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Observe all safety rules and always use proper safety equipment.
• Follow GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations and guidelines.
• Start-up and operate designated packaging equipment following proper procedures efficiently.
• Perform quality checks on finished products according to QA guidelines and maintain quality standards.
• Recognize quality issues and notify the Technician II or Line Leader immediately.
• Ensure raw materials are available.
• Accurately report product lot codes using RFU for inventory control.
• Use Windows-based software to maintain product history and information.
• Keep machines and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Assist team members as needed.
• Complete all paperwork accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Complete required training and assessments.
• Operate at least two machine technologies effectively.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly in written and oral forms.
• Work well in a team environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior computer experience preferred.
• Potential exposure to dust during certain tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Walk and stand throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Bend, climb, reach, kneel, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate equipment as needed.
• Participate in daily pre-shift warm-up routines.
