Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking motivated interns for a 12-week summer program in Scottsdale, AZ. You will work 40 hours per week on the Contract Binding team, gaining real experience under guidance from leadership and senior management.

Responsibilities include reviewing applications, evaluating risks, rating policies, and assisting with quotes and premium calculations while building foundational industry knowledge in risk management and insurance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance.
• Interest in reviewing applications and understanding coverages.
• Willingness to learn pricing, terms, and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance applications and other supporting documents.
• Evaluate new and renewal business, understand coverage criteria, and assess risks.
• Rate policies and prepare quotes, contributing to risk determinations.
• Properly classify risks and compute premiums.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
