Georgia Pacific is hiring a Production Worker Shipping for our Monticello, MS facility. The role supports machine technicians and helps deliver high-quality paper products.

Shifts are 12 hours, rotating days/nights on a 4-on/7-off cycle, with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Starting pay is $24.15 per hour, with opportunities to earn up to $46.61 per hour through overtime and perfect attendance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Three years or more in industrial operation or an associate degree in a relevant field or a technical certification.
• Experience with basic math and reading a tape measure.
• Ability to use a computer, tablet, or smart device.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care and routine preventative maintenance.
• Work as a team to meet production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Read and follow written instructions.
• Communicate effectively within the team.
• Handle a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.
• Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance; stand for long shifts.
