Job summary

Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in San Francisco, CA is hiring home care aides for part-time or full-time, in-person roles. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour, with inclusive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Positions require active CA Home Care Aide registration and the ability to commute to San Francisco or nearby areas. This is a hands-on caregiving role focused on improving clients’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active CA Home Care Aide registration in progress or current.
• Experience in elder/home care settings.
• Ability to work part-time or full-time and commute to San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist clients with ADLs within the caregiver's scope of practice.
• Support personal hygiene, meal planning and household tasks.
• Remind about medications and record services performed.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes to the administrator.
• Travel to appointments or errands and remain alert during shifts.
• Attend required training and keep CA Home Care Aide registration active.

Job Description

$22 – $24 per hour

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation
• Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
• Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
• Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
• Completing records regarding services performed.
• Driving to appointments or to run errands.Accurately records all hours worked.
• Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling theCompany for guidance.
• Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
• Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
