Genesis is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time or part-time night shifts, offering 12-hour shifts. The role focuses on patient assessments, medication administration, and supervision of care staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
