Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Utility for a 12-hour night shift to care for facilities and utility systems at our Orwell, OH location.

You will perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and assist in equipment installation while ensuring a safe work environment. The role requires 1–3 years of experience, familiarity with carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and the ability to work with hazardous materials and MSDS guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities roles.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and multi-task across tasks.
• Familiarity with basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant facilities and utilities.
• Repair and install equipment, coordinate installations to meet deadlines.
• Maintain shop safety and housekeeping, assist in material handling and packaging prep.
