Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Technician for our North Las Vegas, NV facility. The role involves troubleshooting, installing, aligning, and dismantling industrial machinery, plus routine PM activities to improve uptime.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance including lubrication for reliability.
• Participate in a Preventative Maintenance program and document results.
• Collaborate with operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Record work results and parts usage in the CMMS; maintain logs.
