Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, Georgia is seeking a Patient Care Tech for PRN, day shifts (7 am–7 pm) as needed, including holidays and weekends. Under supervision of licensed staff, you will assist with basic care and comfort, and demonstrate competency with treatments and equipment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of patient care experience, BLS certification at hire, and preference for CNA or PCT program certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under licensed staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per policy.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs during 12-hour shifts.
