Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support licensed staff in delivering patient-centered care on a 12-hour shift schedule (7 pm–7 am) as needed, including holidays and weekends.

Under supervision, you will assist with treatments, monitor patients, and ensure safety and comfort across the lifecycle. A high school diploma or GED is required, with BLS on hire and CNA/CCT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment as per hospital policy.
