Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Graceville Correctional Facility in Graceville, FL. The role oversees custody and discipline of inmates, ensuring ACA, FDOC and DMS compliance while supervising correctional officers and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years’ experience in an adult correctional environment or related field required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in Florida with acceptable driving record required, unless waived.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, protect, instruct, train, counsel and evaluate assigned employees.
• Provide for care, custody, and adherence to rules for inmates in the assigned work area.
• Oversee inmate transfer, transport, and searches for contraband.
• Review inmate records related to health, safety, and facility security and relay information to staff.
• Maintain and prepare records, forms and reports.
• Additional duties in housing unit, education, intake or segregation as assigned.
