Job summary

SEJ Services, LLC is hiring for a part-time janitorial position in Sumter, SC. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with weekends on a Saturday-Sunday schedule. Hourly pay is $20.

Qualifications

• Must have a personal smartphone and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and MVR if required
• Positive attitude with dependable attendance and ability to take feedback

• Organized and efficient with a strong sense of urgency and customer service focus
• Willing to perform various cleaning/operational tasks as needed
• Prior experience in labor-based role preferred

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and replace liners
• Vacuum and spot clean carpet
• Sweep and mop hard surface floors
• Clean restrooms
• Sanitize high touch points, spot clean glass, dust, and stock supplies
• Primary point of contact for the cleaning team during shifts
• Assist with assigning daily tasks and ensuring on-time completion
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Monitor and communicate supply needs or equipment issues to management
• Promote a safe, professional work environment
• Lead by example with reliability and teamwork

Qualifications

• Communication & Transportation: Must have a personal smart phone and reliable transportation
• Background & Work Authorization: Must be able to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check if required for the position, and meet all hiring requirements.
• Work Ethic: Positive attitude with the ability to accept feedback, follow directions, and maintain dependable attendance
