SEJ Services, LLC in Sumter, SC is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician for industrial facilities. $25.00 per hour, full-time, 1st/2nd/3rd shifts. You will lead a crew, perform general maintenance, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a crew of 5–9 in general facility maintenance tasks.
• Assemble furniture, guard rails, and repaint as needed.
• Remove trash and replace liners; sweep and mop floors.
• Sanitize high-touch points, spot-clean glass, dust, and stock supplies.
• Serve as primary contact for the cleaning team during shifts.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure on-schedule completion.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Monitor supplies and report equipment or building concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a crew size of 5 - 9 employees in handling general facility maintenance tasks
• Assembling furniture, guard rails, re-painting walls as needed, etc.
• Remove trash and replace liners
• Sweep and mop hard surface floors
• Sanitize all high touch points, spot clean glass, dust, and stock supplies
• Primary point of contact for the cleaning team during assigned shifts
• Assist with assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and on schedule
• Support training and onboarding of new team members on cleaning procedures and site expectations
• Monitor and communicate supply needs, equipment issues, or building concerns to management
• Promote a safe, professional, and positive work environment
• Lead by example through reliability, attendance, work ethic, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Communication & Transportation: Must have a personal smart phone and reliable transportation
• Background & Work Authorization: Must be able to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check if required for the position, and meet all hiring requirements.
• Work Ethic: Positive attitude with the ability to accept feedback, follow directions, and maintain dependable attendance
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a productive team environment
• Safety: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements

• Experience: Prior experience in a labor-based role preferred
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical duties associated with janitorial operations, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and remaining active throughout the shift.
