Job summary

SEJ Services, LLC is seeking a Full Time Shift Supervisor in Pineville, LA to oversee daily janitorial operations across an assigned portfolio, ensuring quality and safety. You will lead a team, manage scheduling and labor costs, and serve as the main client contact during your shift.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proactive mindset to improve processes and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hourly labor in a service environment preferred; janitorial or facility services experience a plus.
• Must have a personal smartphone and reliable transportation.
• Background check and MVR check if required for the position; meet all hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own all daily janitorial operations across assigned portfolio, ensure all services meet quality and safety expectations, conduct inspections and safety audits, and monitor inventory and supply ordering.
• Hire, onboard, train, develop, and coach assigned employees. Manage staff performance, including discipline and terminations as needed, while building and maintaining a stable, safe, and reliable workforce
• Serve as primary point of contact during your assigned shift for client leadership, including regular walkthroughs and meetings, and resolving issues quickly and professionally
• Own labor, scheduling, payroll, supply ordering, and employee appreciation budgets
• Ensure successful execution of additional service opportunities (tag work). Implement process improvements to strengthen overall performance

• Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00
• Facility Type: School
• Shift Time: 6:00am - 3:00pm
• Shift Days: Monday - Friday
• Headcount Responsibility: Approximately 5 - 9 employees

• Growth: Ensure successful execution of additional service opportunities (tag work). Implement process improvements to strengthen overall performance

Qualifications

• Communication & Transportation: Must have a personal smart phone and reliable transportation
• Background & Work Authorization: Must be able to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check if required for the position, and meet all hiring requirements.
• Experience: Prior experience managing hourly labor in a service environment preferred; janitorial or facility services experience a plus
• Leadership: Positive attitude with the ability to accept feedback, lead teams, and hold employees accountable
• Hands-On Support: Willing and able to step into any role and perform operational tasks when needed, including trash removal, vacuuming and carpet cleaning, sweeping and mopping hard surface floors, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, spot cleaning glass, dusting, restocking supplies, and stripping and waxing VCT.
• Safety: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
• Communication & Technology: Strong communication skills and proficiency with basic mobile systems
• Organization: Able to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency and customer service focus
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties associated with janitorial operations, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and remaining active throughout the shift.
