About the role: The Customer Service Representative provides a variety of clerical duties which include, but are not limited to, answering phone calls, greeting clients and families, checking in clients (virtually or in person), scheduling appointments, insurance verification, completing financial reviews, processing payments (payment plans and copays), data entry, completing reports and providing productivity measures. Within this position, you are responsible for the coordination of provider appointments and managing their schedules along with providing reminder calls to clients. This position works with various workstations and interacts with a variety of individuals and agencies and works in collaboration with all medical and clinical teams within Guadalupe County.
Who you are: An individual who is passionate about helping others, hard-working, honest, and personable. A team-player, go-getter, jack of all trades and an out of the box thinker. One who can handle a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. You also have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Texas Driver’s License, knowledge of Microsoft applications, initiative, diplomacy, as well as organizational and time management skills. You must also be comfortable collaborating with an array of individuals including but not limited to adults, children/youth, those in crisis as well as intake and respite units.
Bonus if you have at least one year experience within a medical or hospital setting, have working knowledge of medical insurance and if you are bilingual (English/Spanish).
Hourly Salary Range: $17.30 – $21.05

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services as a recipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant dollars either directly from FTA or through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), will comply with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d), the U.S. Department of Transportation implementing regulations, FTA Circular 4702.lB, and TxDOT PTN requirements as specified in Master Grant Agreement, and State Management Plan.
