Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean floor mats, rugs, and remove debris.
• Clean elevator interiors, rails, push plates, and buttons for a neat appearance.
• Clean interior and exterior glass mirrors and trims.
• Polish decorative metal surfaces like kick plates and rails.
• Remove spills and marks from surfaces after cleaning agents.
• Disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, lavatories, showers, dispensers, and fixtures.
• Ensure restrooms are stocked with tissue, towels, and soap.
• Collect and dispose of trash from waste receptacles; replace liners.
• Complete non-routine cleaning as scheduled; handle emergencies.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $21.00 Hourly

International Support Group (ISG) is looking for a responsible part-time janitor to maintain its customer's facilities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building maintenance and will have strong physical endurance to keep a large space clean and tidy. The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Cleans hard floors using appropriate methods such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping. Moves chairs, trash receptacles, or other easily movable items to maintain floors underneath them.
• Wet mop non-carpeted floors, including entrances, vestibules, lobbies, stairways, landings, and risers. Ensure that underneath, easily movable items are mopped.
• Vacuum and clean interior floor mats, areas, and rugs. Ensure that floor mats are free of all visible lint, litter, debris, soil, and other foreign matter.
• Cleans and polishes all elevator interior walls, guardrails, push plates, elevator buttons, and other fixtures to present a neat, clean, and shining appearance.
• Cleans all interior and exterior entry glass mirrors and adjacent trims.
• Cleans and polishes all decorative metal surfaces, including but not limited to kick plates, railings, and push plates.
• Removes any spillage and marks on adjacent surfaces resulting from applying cleaning agents such as polish.
• Cleans and disinfects all surfaces of sinks, toilets, urinals, lavatories, showers, shower mats, dispensers, plumbing fixtures, drinking fountains, saunas, partitions, soap dispensers, doors, walls, partitions, stalls, stall doors, entry doors, including handles, kick plates, ventilation grates, metal guards), walls, and any other such surfaces.
• Ensures restrooms are stocked sufficiently with provided supplies, including toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap.
• Collects and disposes of trash from all waste receptacles, including — but not limited to—exterior wastebaskets, trash receptacles, and smoking urns. Removes any trash boxes or debris stacked near the waste receptacles.
• Replace plastic trash bags and can liners at each service occurrence.
• Completes non-routine cleaning according to schedule provided by the Manager
• Handles emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
