You will support mechanical design, concepting, and validation for electric drive product systems from design release through fit-up and thermal testing. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience (or MS with 3+ years, or an associate’s with 9+ years).

Position Overview

This role supports the Power Electronic design team on mechanical design, concepting, and validation activities for electric drive product systems, from design release and checking through fit-up, assembly, and vibration and thermal testing.

Key Contributions & Responsibilities

• Design release and checking
• Mechanical design concepting and validation, including fit-up/assembly and vibration and thermal testing
• Supplier interaction on manufacturing

Team Structure & Work Environment

• Reports to the Mechanical Design Lead
• Works in-person with the on-site team and virtually with the global team, collaborating with fellow Mechanical and Power Electronic Engineers
• Primarily an office environment; PPE provided when on production floors or at testing sites

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience required OR
• MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience OR
• Associate's degree with 9+ years of experience
