Allara is hiring a Registered Dietitian to deliver comprehensive nutrition care for women across the U.S. in a fully remote capacity. You will analyze intake data, provide video-based counseling, and collaborate with APRNs/MDs to manage patient care.

You will use EMR and virtual tools, maintain records, and dedicate at least 10 patient-facing hours per week along with administrative tasks. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice and compassionate, patient-centered telemedicine.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with current CDR certification.
• 1 year of experience treating complex women’s health conditions is strongly desired.
• Proven autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with compassion and clarity.
• Strong telemedicine skills and virtual bedside manner.
• Active, unrestricted state RD license in at least one US state.

Location: Fully remote within the U.S.

Your Impact

• Analyze intake assessments, including medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and more.

• Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions via video, including offering general movement, sleep, or stress management advice as needed and related to nutrition care.

• Employ Allara’s provided nutrition training and educational materials to ensure consistent care while adapting to patient needs.

• Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

• Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week in addition to administrative time.

• Responsibilities also include charting, addressing patient inquiries, and responding to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Experience: 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (strongly desired).

• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity

• Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting

• Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools

• Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is required.

A note on state licensing: All active and pending licenses held at the time of application are collected and reviewed during our process. Hiring decisions reflect current state-level needs, which evolve over time. Applicants may not move forward immediately if there is no active need in their licensed states. We regularly revisit candidates as needs expand and when experience, licensure, and role requirements align.
