Job summary

Allara is hiring Registered Dietitians to deliver exceptional care to women. This fully remote role within the United States requires RD certification, clinical independence, and strong communication skills as you support women through various life stages.

As an independent contractor, you’ll receive competitive per-visit rates plus pay for charting and admin tasks, with a sign-on bonus and ongoing CEU opportunities. Join a mission-driven team improving women’s health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with current CDR certification.
• 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions.
• Autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with compassion and clarity.
• Strong virtual bedside manner for telehealth.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Proficient across EMR, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine experience is a plus.
• Active, unrestricted state license to practice as RD in at least one U.S. state.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intake assessments including medical history and dietary habits.
• Counsel and educate via video sessions on diet and lifestyle, including movement, sleep, and stress management as related to nutrition.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and materials to ensure consistent care while adapting to patient needs.
• Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in patient management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week plus administrative time.
• Chart, address patient inquiries, and handle administrative tasks promptly.

Location: Fully remote within the U.S.

Your Impact

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Experience: 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (strongly desired).

• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity

• Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting

• Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools

• Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is required.

A note on state licensing: All active and pending licenses held at the time of application are collected and reviewed during our process. Hiring decisions reflect current state-level needs, which evolve over time. Applicants may not move forward immediately if there is no active need in their licensed states. We regularly revisit candidates as needs expand and when experience, licensure, and role requirements align.
