Job summary

Noble Roofing in East Texas is expanding its sales team in Longview and Kilgore and seeks reps who know how to sell roofs. You’ll start with provided leads and build your own through canvassing and referrals, earning $800 to $4,000 per average-sized job based on experience.

As you progress, you’ll run appointments start to finish and close a growing share of jobs, with the production team handling paperwork and installs.

Qualifications

• Roofing sales experience required.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to climb ladders and work outdoors in Texas weather.
• Comfort with using apps for photos, measurements and notes.
• Experience reading aerial roof measurement reports (EagleView/Hover or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs on homes and businesses, measure and photograph as needed.
• Document storm damage and wear clearly and explain options to owners.
• Walk homeowners through shingle lines, metal, colors, warranties and financing, and prepare proposals.
• Close the sale and transfer the job to production with complete paperwork.
• Serve as the point of contact through install and request reviews and referrals.
• Leverage company leads and build your own pipeline via canvassing and referrals.

What success looks like

A year in, you're running your own appointments start to finish, closing a steady share of the company leads you're given, and a growing number of your jobs come from your own referrals. Your customers recommend you by name, and the production team gets complete paperwork on every job you hand off.

What you'll do

• Run roof inspections at homes and businesses - get on the roof, measure it and photograph what you find.
• Document storm damage and wear thoroughly and accurately, and explain it to the owner in plain language.
• Walk homeowners through their options - shingle lines, metal, colors, warranties and financing - and write clear proposals.
• Close the sale and hand the job to production with complete paperwork, photos and measurements.
• Stay the homeowner's point of contact through the install, then ask for the review and referrals.
• Work the company leads you're given and build your own pipeline through canvassing and our customer referral program.

What we're looking for

Required

• Roofing sales experience
• A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle that can carry a ladder
• Able to climb a ladder, walk a pitched roof and work outdoors in Texas weather
• A smartphone, and comfort using apps for photos, measurements and notes

Preferred

• 3-4 years of roofing sales experience
• Experience reading aerial roof measurement reports (EagleView, Hover or similar)
• Knowledge of GAF or CertainTeed product lines
• Living in or near the Longview-Kilgore area

Pay

• Commissions from $800 to $4,000 per average-sized job, based on experience.
• This is a 1099 commission position. Experienced roofing sales reps may be offered a W-2 position with a draw.
• Leads: a mix of company-provided leads and your own from canvassing and our referral program.
• You'll use your own vehicle.
