Job description

Blatter is seeking a certified welder with 3G and 4G AWS certifications to assist in construction projects.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Fabricate and weld steel components and repair heavy equipment according to layouts, drawings, or specific needs.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and installation issues encountered by supervisors, fabricate custom tools or components to resolve problems, or coordinate with external vendors for fabrication.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent training and experience.

• Welding certification typically obtained through a 2-year welding program or at least 5 years of welding and metal fabrication experience.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug, and alcohol screening.

• Willingness to travel and relocate to the job site (up to 100% travel).

• Construction or previous solar industry assembly experience.

• Advanced knowledge of metal fabrication and welding techniques, materials, and tools.

Pay Range: $25.00 - 30.00 per hour; per diem based on eligibility.
