The Merchandising Manager, reporting to the Store Manager, is responsible for all merchandising operations within assigned departments. Responsibilities include:

1. Department layouts, signage, product features, and promotional setups.
2. Managing markdowns, freight flow, loss prevention, and department maintenance.
3. Acting as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
4. Supporting HR functions such as hiring and staffing.
5. Ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
6. Improving store volume, profits, shrink, employee retention, and merchandising standards.

The role may require working at different locations, including potential overnight stays for store openings, cleanups, or inventory. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs., with occasional lifts up to 70 lbs., and performing tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.

Transfers to other stores within the market may occur based on business needs.
