Job summary

Barcel USA LLC is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee daily operations of a maintenance department at Bethlehem, PA. You will coordinate activities, lead teams and ensure equipment uptime while supporting safety and cost controls under OSHA standards.

The role requires an Electrical Engineer degree or related training, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and job orders. Evening/weekend shifts may be required in a manufacturing setting.

Job purposeA responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a maintenance department. Coordinate maintenance activities, manage teams, ensure equipment functionality, and support broader organizational goals like uptime, safety, and cost control. Involves planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.Duties and responsibilitiesDirects workers, or assists in diagnosing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.Interprets company policies to workers and enforces OSHA and company safety regulations.Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.Prepare priorities for you and your team for the upcoming shiftCommunicate and coordinate important issues with the right team members to solve issues, including cross-functional partners, incoming shift team leaders, and department leadershipDeliver on Key Performance Indicators for People, Quality, Safety, Service, and CostEngage and develop core competencies in Associates through onboarding, training, coaching, and consistent performance feedbackAchieve all safety goals.
