Job summary

Barcel USA LLC in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, coordinate activities, lead teams, and ensure equipment reliability.

You will interpret blueprints, enforce OSHA safety standards, align with production schedules, drive KPIs for safety, quality, throughput, and cost, and mentor staff through training and feedback.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer degree/related trainings.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to read English and follow written procedures.
• Team-oriented with strong leadership.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Directs workers and assists in diagnosing malfunctions across electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Interprets policies, enforces OSHA safety regulations, and enforces company standards.
• Reads specifications/blueprints and assigns duties to team members.
• Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Prioritizes shift tasks and communicates issues with cross-functional partners.
• Achieves KPIs for People, Quality, Safety, Service, and Cost.
• Onboards, trains, coaches, and provides performance feedback to associates.
• Works toward safety goals and conducts safety awareness programs.
• Ensures production schedule attainment and cost efficiency by reducing waste and downtime.
• Leads staff scheduling and supports sales through production output.
• Complies with regulations and company policies.
