Canvas in Fort Walton Beach is seeking an experienced engineer for design, development, and integration of aircraft hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. The role requires airworthiness, loads, stress, and weight and balance analysis to support systems integration.

Duties Requiring Experience:Must have a minimum of two years a00f experience in the design, development, and integration of aircraft hydraulic/ pneumatic/ mechanical systems, with two years of overseeing design and development of engineering projects. Requires experience in accomplishing airworthiness, loads, stress, and weight and balance analysis in support of systems integration.

Physical Requirements:This position frequently requires ascending/descending aircraft crew doors, aircraft stands - ascending/descending flight deck ladders, work stand ladders and common ladders, entering, exiting, working and crawling in confined spaces. Walking on wings, in cargo bays and in hangars where their are trip hazards, sharp edges and cords/hoses laying on floors, cargo decks,, wing stands and fight decks and falling objects.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Work Environment:Combination of desk work (computer) and frequently working in an industrial work setting and as mentioned above accessing everywhere on an aircraft. Noise protection and goggles/safety glasses must be worn in designated work areas.
