Masterson Staffing is seeking a Canning Technician in Faribault, MN to operate canning line equipment and ensure product quality. The role involves monitoring equipment like depalletizers and can detectors, while maintaining safe operations and proper sanitation.

You will collaborate with Quality Assurance on quality programs, manage paperwork and logs, and coordinate with teams to meet production goals. This is a contingent position with drug screens and interviews required.

Rate of Pay:$19.70Hours:1:45p,-10:15pm, M-F, OT as needed

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Canning Technician is to operate can making equipment including thedepalletizer/palletizer, can conveyor systems, lid feeder, body former, lead detector and can detection systems. Monitor the process of the canning systems so that product quality is guaranteed and package integrity is assured.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Parter with Quality Assurance, executing and supporting all quality programs that ensure the production of Safe, Quality Foods.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of assigned equipment on the canning line.
• Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and of Company assets.
• Request products and materials to assure that the Business Unit goals and customer orders are achieved in a timely fashion.
• Complete assigned paperwork daily. Document all required operational checks. Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
• Preform proper sanitation and line observation.
