Entertimeonline is seeking a can making technician to move products and supplies, operate depalletizers and can line equipment, and monitor processes to guarantee quality and packaging integrity.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a 1:45pm–12:15am shift from Monday to Thursday. Proficiency with MS Office is desirable.

Description

SUMMARY: This person would be responsible for movement of product and supplies in the Can Making area. Operate can making equipment including the depalletizer, depalletizer/palletizer, can conveyor systems, lid feeder, slitter, welder, body former, uniformer, leak detector and can detection systems. Monitor the processes of the canning systems so that product quality is guaranteed and package integrity is assured.

The schedule for this position is 1:45pm to 12:15am, Monday through Thursday.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent education experience.
• 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing facility.
• Demonstrated experience in ability to run, set-up and change-over equipment.
• Demonstrated equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and software applications, preferably with MS Office applications.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must be able to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
