Abound Health is hiring compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Aaronsburg, PA. This role provides one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities, with a $1,000 signing bonus and a pay rate of $17.00–$25.00 per hour.

Abound Health is hiring compassionate, reliable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Aaronsburg, PA.

Full-time and part-time hours available.

About the Role

As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities. Your work helps individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly

• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Compensation

• $17.00–$25.00 per hour
• $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates

Schedule

• Various hours with flexible scheduling
• Morning, afternoon, or evening shifts available
