Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician who will travel 100% within the FAA Central Service area to support site installations across multiple regions. You’ll replace components, wire circuits, and repair equipment using test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.

Responsibilities include installing racks, providing power and grounding, running cable trays, and installing fiber paths.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the Central Service Area.
• Advanced electronics training from accredited institutions is preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting at least 50 pounds and performing site installations.

Responsibilities

• Support site preparation for contractor installation of FENS racks and power circuits.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical components and test readings with common instruments.
• Solder, splice, and install various wire types, including coaxial and shielded wires.
• Test and troubleshoot electronic equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and test equipment.
• Calibrate audio and voice communication systems as required at client sites.
