Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Warehouse/Hazardous Waste Handler to receive, verify, and stage drums and pallets at a 10-day transfer facility. You will ensure compliance with USDOT and EPA regulations while coordinating with Veolia drivers and disposal sites.

The role requires forklift operation, DOT knowledge, and strong inventory control. Prior experience in hazardous waste handling and a high school diploma or GED are required; a related associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Prior work experience of 1–2 years in a related position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, unload, and stage drums, pallets; store hazardous waste in 10-day facility for future transfer.
• Review appropriate manifests for proper count, description, and information before transferring materials.
• Enter manifest information into daily log to maintain 10-day transfer period before shipping.
