Job summary

Foot Locker in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time warehouse associate for the 1st Shift (4:00am to 2:30pm). You will safely operate power equipment such as order pickers, forklifts, and pallet trucks, ensuring equipment is ready at the start of each shift and reporting any damages to supervision.

This role requires the ability to stand, walk, lift 5–50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds periodically, plus reading, writing, and basic English to follow safety instructions and use RF

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 or older, have a positive attitude, be open to learning, work well with others and have the willingness to prioritize customer needs.
• Stand, walk, and lift weighted boxes; comply with vision requirements and other labor regulations.
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and communicate in emergencies.
• Not solely English-speaking at work; language requirements are flexible.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all power equipment within the Camp Hill Supply Chain (order picker, double pallet truck, forklift, dock stocker and others).
• Ensure equipment is operational at shift start and report damages or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Operate heavy equipment in a distribution facility of various sizes and weights.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and refer defects for repairs; clean equipment.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read, write, operate RF device, perform basic math and analyze data as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all power equipment within the Camp Hill Supply Chain. Equipment includes order picker, double pallet truck, forklift, dock stocker and any other machines as needed.
• Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at the beginning of shift which includes checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately.
• Operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in a distribution facility.
• Performs daily inspection on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment.
• Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, operate Radio-Frequency (RF) device, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.

• Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings, and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.

• Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling, and moving weights of 5 - 50 pounds constantly and 50-100lbs frequently.
• Ability to move 50-100lbs at least 25 feet in distance.
• Must be within the height/weight guidelines provided by equipment manufacturer to safely operate equipment.
• Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.

Work Environment

This position works in a warehouse setting, with limited outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, RF scanner, and tape dispensers. Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.

• This requirement is critical to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. It is not a requirement of Foot Locker that employees speak English only while at work.
