Job summary

Fusion Academy in Irvine, CA is seeking a part-time Math and Science Teacher to deliver personalized, one-on-one instruction and craft engaging lessons for learners. You’ll tailor content to individual needs and collaborate with colleagues to support a positive campus culture.

You’ll mentor students, maintain accurate records, and contribute to social-emotional growth. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with advanced degrees or credentials a plus; daytime school-hour availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
